Gas Turbine Piping
For our customer, a renowned manufacturer of large gas turbines, we supplied all the piping required to operate the turbine and generator for numerous worldwide projects. Our scope of services included project planning, material procurement, prefabrication at our plant in Obernburg on the Main, seaworthy packaging and transport to the port of shipment. The turbines are used in simple (single-cycle) gas turbine power plants and combined-cycle power plants.
Our scope of supply consisted of the following piping systems including steelwork, supports, valves and components:
- Engine piping, consisting of the fuel gas manifolds, fuel oil manifolds as well as the blow-off and cooling air lines.
- Interconnecting piping between the turbine and the auxiliary units. These include the systems fuel gas piping, fuel oil piping, NOx water piping, lube oil piping, purge water piping, purge air piping, turbine drainage, measuring lines, hydraulic and pneumatic piping.
