Steam Turbine Piping
For our customer, a manufacturer of steam turbines, we supplied all the piping required to operate the turbine and generator for numerous worldwide projects. Our scope of services included project planning, material procurement, prefabrication at our plant in Obernburg, seaworthy packaging and, in some cases, transport to the construction site. The turbines are used in conventional steam power plants, combined-cycle power plants and industrial power plants.
Our scope of supply consisted of the following internal turbine piping systems including steelwork and supports: Gland steam piping, turbine drainage, lube oil piping, condensate piping, intercooling water piping, stator cooling water piping, generator sealing oil piping, gas cooling piping, hydraulic piping and measuring lines. In many projects, we have also supplied the cross-over pipes between the different turbine stages.
